Saddleworth - Day 42

My husband and I have had a great day visiting friends today. We spent it in the lovely little area called Dobcross in Saddleworth but if you are not paying attention you will not notice that you have just driven through it :-)

There was lots of chatting, tea and cake and biscuits!

The weather was rainy so we didn't go out for a walk but next time we both visit walking will definitely be on the agenda! Even driving home with these views in the rain was so nice to see.

I love living in Yorkshire!

    Oh, it's so small...
    Reminds me of towns I lived in where you can easily walk from one end of the town to the other in less then an hour

    I bet a walk around there would remind me of Pride and Prejudice and that would be awesome. :)

    My home town is Oldham so I know the place well. Glad you had a lovely day and I feel a yearning for my mum now!
