Yorkshire Countryside - Day 56

It has been a fairly relaxing day today. We have been out today over in Keighley (in Yorkshire,UK) visiting some family. I have had a very sore back/shoulder for most of the day due to a trapped nerve (I think?) so have had a day away from crafting again. 

On the way back me and my husband pulled over to take a few quick shots of the surrounding countryside to share with you all.

Rice Pudding - Day 53

Tonight I have been having a night off from doing anything crafty. I have been relaxing and watching some Smallville with my husband - we don't really get chance to do this normally so it is a nice treat :-)

New Tea Cup Design - Day 51

So in tonight's post it was going to be about the free giveaway of one of my brooches. Sadly due to time differences between countries the time at which the free giveaway starts it will actually be tomorrow here in the UK. New Listings YAY! - Day 50

Wow I really can not believe that I have made it to DAY 50! I am so thrilled. I only have ... erm ... (365-50 =315) .. 315 more days to go :-)

I just hope that I am managing to keep you all interested in the things that I have been making and other bits and bobs.

Tonight I have been busy adding some more brooches to my etsy shop. I love making new things and I have found it quite hard not to post these in the making but I think it was worth the wait as they look so beautiful! What do you recon?

Crafty Tutorial In The Making - Day 48

Hello everyone :-)

Today I have been messing around with my camera trying to get enough photographs together to show you all how to make my clay beads! This is a photograph to give you an idea of the ones I make...

I have had lots of fun making clay beads and will be ready to paint and varnish once they have dried.

As for the tutorial it is first going to be featured on Felt By Gina's blog and once posted on there I will be adding it to my blog for you all to see in the tutorials section. I am also going to be featuring Felt By Gina here on my blog, seeing how she makes here lovely felt scarves and where her inspiration comes from.

Spa Treats and Parcel from the Postie - Day 47

Tonight I have been out having one of those treatment nights where a group of friends go to one house and have a lady showing you lots of different products to take care of your body. It has been great fun, we had a meal together with everyone and their husbands and they went over the fields to the pub and we had a pamper night! I couldn't splash out this month so I just bought a nail varnish. Maybe next time I can get something else :-)

Folksy Tea Time anyone? - Day 45

Since I have been a bit tea orientated with the things I have been making, e.g. my tea cup brooches, and the lovely people over at folksy have been so nice, I have decided that I would dedicate a blog post to the things that they have been making with the tea theme!

Saddleworth - Day 42

My husband and I have had a great day visiting friends today. We spent it in the lovely little area called Dobcross in Saddleworth but if you are not paying attention you will not notice that you have just driven through it :-)

This is a photograph of the area that I got from Wiki ...

There was lots of chatting, tea and cake and biscuits!

The weather was rainy so we didn't go out for a walk but next time we both visit walking will definitely be on the agenda! Even driving home with these views in the rain was so nice to see.

I love living in Yorkshire!
